Good Morning everyone! So how many of you have kids? and now how many of you have problems with mealtimes? I am finding this is a very common problem and esp here in our home....Times need to change with the way kids eat esp with Childhood Obesity issue that is out of control..... As I am sure you all know I have a 3 year old and we have had battles at mealtimes..mostly with what to eat.....for the longest time she would only eat a few certain things and not too many of those things would be the most healthy. She would always say "no i don't like that" when really she had never tried it...... I have read many parenting books and none of them really helped...... One day i stumbled upon something called the Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting website http://www.calmerparenting.com/.....and our mealtimes along with many other issues we were having have all become so great......The methods that are used are so effective. They also have many other CD's to help with Please read more about the products and the Child Behavioral Expert behind this great company..... http://www.calmerparenting.com/
Thousands of parents worldwide have solved the mealtime issues with the Calmer, Easier, Happier Mealtimes strategies, which are part of the Calmer, Easier, Happier Parenting program. Noel Janis-Norton, a learning and behavior specialist, created this program more than 30 years ago. Through seminars, books, CDs and DVDs she shows how parents can get back in charge of their family’s lifestyle in a highly positive, firm and consistent way in order to bring out the best in all family members.
Parents want their children to eat more healthy foods, but they often feel frustrated because they don’t know how to achieve these important goals. So all too often parents end up urging and lecturing their children about eating healthier foods, but then they find themselves giving in and serving food that is less healthy because they know their children will eat it without a fuss. Parents need effective strategies to enable them to implement the information they learn about healthier lifestyles.
